Golden Ring of Russia

The Golden Ring tourist route in 2025 received the national status and unites nine ancient cities in Central Russia, preserving the spirit of antiquity, architectural monuments, and traditions of the past. Golden Ring cities are Vladimir, Suzdal, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Uglich, Rostov Veliky, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Sergiev Posad. Not all 9 cities are located in a circle. Uglich, for example, and Kostroma are located quite far from Moscow. It’s more convenient to visit this city separately, not as part of the “Golden Ring of Russia” route.
