Day 1 – Moscow

Day 2 – Moscow

Moscow is the largest metropolis in Russia and one of the largest cities in the world. he capital of Russia has existed for about nine centuries. During the sightseeing tour you will see the most historical and cultural famous places of Moscow: Red Square, Kremlin complex, Bolshoi Theater, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, Sparrow Hills and Moscow State University, Victory Park, Arbat and many other places.
13.30 – Excursion to Moscow Kremlin (territory + Cathedrals)

The Moscow Kremlin is the most famous, ancient, impressive sight in Russia. Erected at the end of the XYth century the fortress is closely connected with the history of the Russia. It was the majestic temples that made the Kremlin not only the political, but the spiritual and cultural center of the country. The history of cathedrals is directly related to the history of the Russia: with misfortunes and holidays, ruin and obligatory revival. The main cathedrals of Moscow Kremlin are Blagoveshchensk Cathedral, Cathedral of the Archangel, Dormition Cathedral.
15.00 – Time for the Lunch (extra). Back to the hotel on your own.

Day 3 – Moscow (walking day)

Excursion “Underground Palaces of Moscow”
The Moscow metro can rightfully be considered a real museum. Its stations decoration describe a story about Russian history and culture, patriotism of the Soviet people, architectural trends not only in Russian but European . The central stations like Kievskaya, Komsomolskaya, Revolution Square, Slavyansky Boulevard, Novoslobodskaya, Arbatskaya, Taganskaya and some rest are decorated with expensive materials, mosaics, panels, sculptures. Some of them are truly priceless works of art.
13.00 – River cruise along Moscow river by Radisson Royal snow-white beauty yacht
You will get acquainted with historical sights of Moscow located along the Moscow river Embankment – Moscow Kremlin, Novodevichy convent, the monument to Peter I, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Moscow University. It will be unusual travel experience.
The guests can order food and drinks on the yacht at an additional cost.
16.30 – Back to the hotel.

Day 4 – Moscow (walking day)

11.00 – Visit of The Museum of Cosmonautics
In April 1961, the Museum of Cosmonautics was opened to visitors. Here is the most complete collection of models of russian space technology in the country. The largest exposition of rarities and documents related to space exploration by domestic pioneers. The museum is large with a varied exhibition, consisting of 96 thousand exhibits.
12.30 – Pedestrian walk through the museum and recreation complex VDNKh
A huge exhibition complex, founded in the 40s of the XXth century consists of about 400 structures. Most of the VDNH buildings are designed in the Art Deco and Stalinist Empire styles. The exhibition pavilions have a thematic focus are dedicated to the regions (former republics of the USSR) and the branches of science, technology and agriculture. It is one of the most visited place in Moscow by russians to have a rest.
15.00 – Back to the hotel.

Day 5 – Moscow/Saint-Petersburg

Day 6 – Saint Petersburg

Famous monuments of cultural capital of Russia, impressive architecture, magnificent bridges and fountains, theaters and museums provide an opportunity to get in touch with its rich history of Saint Petersburg. During the city tour, you will see the Palace Square, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, Peter and Paul Fortress, Church of the Savior on Blood, Winter Palace.

Excursion to Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood
The Savior on Spilled Blood cathedral was erected in memory of Emperor Alexander II. At this place, in 1881, an attempt was made on his life, after which he died. Construction took place for 24 years from 1883 to 1907. Take a change to see unique mosaic masterpieces as on inside the cathedral and outside it.

Day 8 – Saint Petersburg

Excursion to St.Isaac’s Cathedral

By order of tzar Peter The Great in 1825 a grandiose building in the classicism style was designed. The construction took 40 years. The cathedral has a cross-domed shape, the main part is a dome, the outer diameter of which is 25.8 meters. Work on the interiors lasted 17 years and ended only in 1858. It is one of the biggest orthodox church in Russia.
