The mountainous part of Sochi is located about an hour’s drive from the central part at an altitude of 560 meters. This is the Rosa Khutor resort, which is built along the Mzymta River with a beautiful embankment with cafes and restaurants.
The resort has ringing mountain air and an atmosphere of relaxation and peace. Accompanied by a guide, visit the My Russia ethno-park – an open-air ethnographic museum illustrating the history and specifics of different territories of Russia.
Here you can buy authentic souvenirs from different regions of our country – wooden toys, jewelry, edged weapons from Degestan (blades, daggers), copies of Faberge Easter eggs from St. Petersburg, jewelry made of natural stones from Siberia. Then from a height of 560 meters you will rise by funicular to a level of 960 meters. Here the Rosa Khutor resort continues.
