Day 1 - Kazan
A sightseeing tour of the Muslim mosques of Kazan is dedicated to getting to know the spiritual life of the Tatar people of Russia.
During a visit to the most significant mosques of Kazan, the guide will tell you about theologians, educators, imams and madrass teachers.
In the historical part of Kazan you will see residential buildings, visit Muslim mosques, carefully preserved since the 19th century.
There is the tour program:
• Marjani Mosque, the first stone mosque built in Rus’ in 1766-1770 in Rus’, the architectural style “Baroque”.
• Azimovskaya Mosque, 1887-1890. Eastern style of architecture.
• Kul-Sharif Mosque, 2005 – The calling card of the Muslim Kazan in the Kazan Kremlin.
• Yardam Mosque, 2013 – a complex with a prayer hall, and also a rehabilitation center for the visually impaired.
• Irek Mosque, 2018 – reminiscent in style of the Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Mosque (UAE).
